Released at a pivotal moment in Opeth's ascent, Deliverance offers a snapshot of a band refusing to stand still.

Emerging in the wake of the breakthrough success of Blackwater Park, and produced in tandem with Steven Wilson, their sixth studio album boasts unapologetic heaviness, immersive songcraft and intoxicating atmospheres. While many contemporaries relied on tried-and-tested formulations, Opeth showed real ambition and sonic exploration.

Even after two decades, Deliverance remains a jewel in the crown of modern progressive metal. This new reissue offers a fresh chance to revisit a record whose power, innovation and legacy remain as impactful today as when it first arrived.
