War Torn
Survivors and Victims in the Late Twentieth Century
These are images of people living, as best they can, through all the moments that comprise daily life in war-torn lands. Thirty-one of the world's most respected and praised photographers have pooled work many had lost hope of ever seeing published, because they are not typical combat shots. The result is this truly unique collective portrait of the life of the innocent bystander.
